• Tenant application data — personal details, employment information, references, and uploaded documents submitted by applicants through your property links.
• Payment information — billing details processed securely through our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.
• Communications — messages you send through our support channels.

We also automatically collect usage data such as IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Propease platform.
• To process tenant applications and facilitate landlord-tenant workflows.
• To run AI-powered screening and reference verification on submitted applications.
• To generate, send, and track lease agreements via e-signature.
• To send transactional emails (confirmations, notifications, reminders).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address security issues or fraud.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases:

• Service providers — Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), Telnyx (voice/SMS), DocuSeal (e-signatures), and OpenAI (AI screening). Each processes data under strict agreements.
• Landlord–tenant workflow — application data is shared with the landlord who owns the property listing.
• Legal obligations — if required by law, court order, or government request.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level security (RLS) in our database, and regular access audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Application and lease data is retained for the duration required by applicable tenancy laws (typically 3–7 years). You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
